Protection of Your Data

This Privacy Notice informs you about what personal data we process, on what legal basis, for what purposes, and what rights you have. Under applicable law, you are the data subject and Warrancy acts as the data controller.

What Data We Process

• Name and email address — collected upon account creation
• Warranty and document data that you upload
• Technical information: IP address, device type, operating system
• Payment information (we do not store full card details)
• Information voluntarily provided during communication with us

How We Use Your Data

We process your data to: provide our services, send reminders for expiring documents, improve service quality, and communicate with you. Legal bases: performance of a contract, legal obligations, legitimate interest, and your explicit consent.

Who We Share Data With

Your data may be shared with the following categories of third-party processors — solely for the purpose of delivering the service:

• Hosting providers and cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure)
• Payment processors (Apple App Store, Google Play)
• AI document processing services: Google Cloud Document AI (for optical character recognition of scanned documents) and Google Gemini (for automated document classification and field extraction). When you scan a document, the text extracted from that document is sent to these services for processing. No data is used for model training.
• Authentication provider (Microsoft Entra ID)

All third parties process data in accordance with GDPR. Google Cloud processing occurs in the EU region. When data is transferred outside the EU, appropriate safeguards are applied.

Security & Retention

We implement technical and organisational security measures including encryption, access controls, and secure servers. Data is retained for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Marketing data is retained until consent is withdrawn.

Children's Personal Data
